Celebrate Earth Month in Seminole County |
April is Earth Month in Seminole County, a time to celebrate and protect our precious natural resources by taking action. You and your family can join a volunteer project, attend an educational hike or webinar, or practice water-saving habits at home.
At seminolecountyfl.gov/earthmonth, find a calendar featuring classes, hikes, volunteer opportunities, and community events happening all April long. Then keep reading for earth-friendly tips from the Environmental Services and Parks and Recreation Departments.
April is also officially Water Conservation Month in Seminole County and the state of Florida. Make sure you are watering your lawn and landscape only twice per week and following countywide watering guidelines. Then, get your irrigation system ready for spring and summer by checking for leaks and a working rain sensor. Learn more below. |
