Recognizing EMS Week |
May 18–24 is National EMS Week, a time to show our gratitude toward paramedics and EMTs who provide lifesaving care across the nation every day.
Did you know that more than 80% of the Seminole County Fire Department’s calls are medical-related? Seminole County thanks its paramedics and EMTs for being the first ones on a scene to deliver critical medical assistance.
You can help save a life in an emergency, too. SCFD’s Save a Life Seminole program offers free hands-only CPR classes. Request a class for your workplace, school, or community group and an SCFD instructor will teach you how to perform chest compressions until first responders arrive to potentially save your loved one’s life during a cardiac arrest event. |
